The regional governor said four people were believed to have died in Kramatorsk when Russia fired missiles on the eastern Ukrainian city on Saturday night.
Vadim Filashkin, the governor of Donetsk in Ukraine, said Russia fired three rockets against the city.
“Probably, a family of four, including teenagers aged 14 and 16, are under the rubble of one of the houses”, he wrote in a Telegram post.
The strike caused a two-metre crater close to the house, and the residents were presumed dead.
Kramatorsk is approximately 20 kilometres (12 miles) from the frontlines in eastern Ukraine.
It has been repeatedly attacked by Russia since the war began two years ago, including an assault on the city’s train station in April 2022 that killed over 60 people.
