China Reports ‘No New Infectious Diseases Found’ Despite A Surge In Respiratory Illness

Mi Feng, an official with China’s National Health Commission stated on Saturday that no new infectious diseases have been discovered in investigations of respiratory illness so far.

As the country prepares for its first full winter season after lifting strict COVID-19 restrictions in December last year, China has observed an increase in respiratory ailments.
