Bigg Boss, currently in its 17th season, boasts a steadfast fan base, yet a persistent misconception exists regarding the role of voice artists in determining housemate fates. Vijay Vikram Singh, the show’s narrator, recently opened up to Bollywood Bubble about the challenges he faces, including threats to himself and his family, particularly following the eviction of popular contestants.
Singh clarified his position as the second voice on the show, engaging with the audience, announcing time, and narrating events for the television viewers. He underscored the distinction between his voice and the one interacting with the housemates, emphasizing that he is solely the narrator’s voice.

Despite these clarifications, Singh detailed the online trolling he has endured over the past two years, especially when influential contestants face elimination. Distressed by the situation, he repeatedly asserts that he holds no authority in the elimination process; it rests solely on the viewers’ votes.
The online abuse has not only targeted Singh but also extended to his family, with individuals dragging them into the fray and issuing threats. Singh expressed his frustration with the situation, emphasizing that he is not the decision-maker and does not control the fate of contestants.

Maintaining a veil of secrecy, Singh refrained from disclosing the identity of the voice behind Bigg Boss. He asserted that he doesn’t know whether it’s a person or a machine but highlighted that, even if it were a person, they are merely performing their job.
In essence, Vijay Vikram Singh seeks to dispel the misconceptions surrounding his role, urging fans to understand the distinction between the narrator’s voice and the decision-making process, while also shedding light on the toll such misunderstandings have taken on him and his family.
