Pakistan was stunned by the Balochistan horror as Gunmen killed several forcing them off their vehicles. On Monday, in Southwest of Pakistan, gunmen forced people out of their vehicles and killed at least 23 after checking their identity.
According to AFP reports, Militants killed several people after checking their ethnicity as they stopped many buses, trucks and vans. However, five people have sustained injuries. The incident occurred in Musakhail district in Balochistan province.
Notably, the assailants had blocked the interprovincial highway in Musakhel’s Rarasham district as they offloaded the passengers from their vehicles and killed them after ascertaining their ethnic identity.
As per the media reports, a senior official told AFP that assailants inspected the vehicles travelling to and from Punjab. After checking identifying ethnicity, militants killed many people. The goal behind the Balochistan horror is believed to be an attempt of driving specific ethnicity out of the provice.

Chief Minister of Balochistan, Sarfaraz Bugti, offered condolence to the families of deceased as he condemned the incident. He also affirmed that Balochistan government will pursue the culprits and they will witness and exemplary end, according to the reports of Dawn.
According to the Associated Press, the banned Baluch Liberation Army had previously warned people to avoid the highways. However, no group has immediately claimed responsibility for the attack.
Separatists in Balochistan have frequently targeted workers and others from Punjab, the eastern region of Pakistan, as part of their campaign to drive them out of the province.
