Women Makes Rent Agreement For The Family Members
An individual, identified as an X user recently took to a micro-blogging platform to share a clever strategy implemented by her relative, Manju Gupta, aimed at reducing her family’s phone usage. Gupta devised an agreement with three specific terms and a unique consequence for those who failed to comply.
The terms, outlined on a non-judicial stamp paper, included starting the day by seeing the sun instead of reaching for phones, having dinner at the dining table without phones, and refraining from taking phones to the washroom. To add a humorous twist, anyone violating these rules would lose access to popular food delivery services Swiggy and Zomato for a month.
The post, shared on January 3, has since gained significant attention, accumulating close to five lakh views, over 5,800 likes, and numerous comments. Many found the agreement amusing, with comments reflecting the humor in the situation.
One individual humorously remarked, “Masi has laid out more terms & conditions than a Mutual Fund.” Another expressed affection, saying, “I love your massi.” Some playfully speculated about the uniqueness of Gupta families, with one comment stating, “Anything can happen in Gupta families.”
The overall sentiment of the comments ranged from amusement to appreciation for Manju Gupta’s creative approach to managing phone usage within her family. While some acknowledged the humor in the situation, others shared the sentiment that similar agreements might not be as well-received in their own households.
