The conference brings together judges, legal experts, and government representatives. They will discuss key aspects of legal aid delivery, including access to justice, digital outreach, and institutional strengthening.

The event is part of India’s ongoing efforts to make justice more accessible, efficient, and citizen-centric.

The Legal Services Day, observed annually on November 9, commemorates the enforcement of the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987, which came into effect in 1995.

The day underscores the nation’s commitment to free and competent legal services for the weaker sections of society, ensuring justice on the basis of equal opportunity.
