YouTuber Vishakha Fulsunge’s video of her popping the question to her partner in front of the Kedarnath temple has gone viral on social media. The YouTuber can be seen getting down on one knee and proposing to her partner while wearing a yellow sari and carrying a ring. The video, however, generated a discussion online.
In the video taken in front of the Kedarnath temple, the woman kneels down and pops the question to the man after he finishes praying. The man responds, “Yes,” astounded by her action, and the couple embraces her tightly.
“Today was the day that came true after so much planning (matching clothes, ring size, travel plans) and thoughts (landsides, heavy rain, cold),” according to the video’s caption. Since this location holds a special place in our hearts and is Kedarnath Temple, which is located 11,750 feet above sea level in the Himalayan foothills, I have been preparing to propose to him there for months.
The internet is divided over the video. Although several users saw nothing wrong with the gesture, a significant portion of the internet thought it was insulting.
One of the arguments in favor of banning smartphones from all prestigious temples and shrines, according to a user, Simply having a basic phone within 20 kilometers of the main temple helps reduce crowds. PS: From Kedarnath, I’m writing this.
“I do not find anything wrong with this video,” another user remarked. Instead, it’s lovely. There are weddings held in temples all around India. It is entirely acceptable for a couple to exchange wedding vows in front of Lord Shri Kedar. The pair in the video seemed to be properly attired for the temple grounds. Today’s youth showing faith in Hindu Devi Devtas is lovely.
“Thank them for celebrating one of the most important occasions in their lives with Mahadev’s blessings. Try to feel them, guys, at the moment of the ring proposal,” the third user remarked.
“Be respectful in places of worship. Individuals travel there with great commitment and sorrow. But individuals like you travel in helicopters dressed in matching outfits. Oblivious to the suffering, and invent drama merely to gain fame. Shameful, said the fourth commenter.
