Customer Finds Insects in Makhana
A user on X, Siddharth Shah, posted a series of photos revealing live bugs and insects inside makhana pieces he ordered from Flipkart. In his tweet, he expressed his dismay and mentioned the lack of a return policy for the product. Initially, Flipkart responded with a standard message and requested the removal of order-specific details.
The conversation between Flipkart and the customer continued for some time, and eventually, Siddharth Shah updated the post, stating that Flipkart had issued a refund, expressing gratitude for the support received.
As for the reactions from X users, they varied. One user shared a negative experience, advising against ordering food products from Flipkart due to a similar incident with an expired item.
Another user made a humorous comment, asking if the company was selling non-veg Makhana. Some users provided advice, suggesting that for non-returnable products, companies usually ask customers to dispose of the item and issue a refund.
They recommended attempting to contact the company through different means, like phone or email, and mentioned that if communication fails, contacting the bank to dispute the charge might be an option. A different user simply stated that some items are better purchased offline.
