Arvind Kejriwal’s Plea In HC Says Arrest And Remand Illegal, Seeks Immediate Release From Custody: Sources

Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, reaches Delhi High Court challenging his arrest and ED remand in connection with the liquor policy Scam.

Kejriwal has filed a petition with the Delhi High Court challenging both his arrest and the trial court’s March 22, 2024, decision of remand.

He argues that he should be freed from custody right away and that the remand order and the arrest were both unlawful.

Chief Justice has been asked for an urgent hearing, ideally by Sunday, March 24.
