The demonstaration took place in Sarojini Nagar constituency of Uttar Pradesh, protested the attacks on minorities in the coustry following the ousting of Sheikh Hasina in August.

Making a post on microblogging platform X, Rajeshwar Singh portrayed his concern on declining population of Hindus in Bangladesh. 

Dr Singh emphasized that the Hindu minority in Bangladesh is in dire need of support from India. He criticized Indian political parties for their silence on the issue, calling it a form of silent endorsement of the violence against Hindus.

In a post on social media platform X, Singh praised the Constitution of India as a protector of citizens' dignity and rights, upholding values like equality, justice, and freedom.

Singh noted that, over seven years, police encounters have killed 197 criminals and injured 6,329. Police have also dismantled 68 mafia gangs, seized ₹3,758 crore worth of property, and freed over 66,000 hectares of illegally occupied land

Singh countered by pointing to instances where journalists were targeted during the Samajwadi Party’s government. He mentioned the 2013 killing of journalist Surendra Verma in Etawah, Akhilesh Yadav’s home district

Singh contributed 10 computers to establish a digital library at the school, encouraging students to prepare for a future shaped by artificial intelligence and new technologies

Singh emphasized that casteism breeds animosity and division within society. He expressed concern that the spirits of India's freedom fighters would be pained to witness democracy suffering under casteism
