Mamata Banerjee hailed the Trinamool Congress victory in bypolls to four Assembly constituencies as a resounding response to the BJP.

The Election Commission has been actively running campaigns to encourage higher voter turnout in the current Lok Sabha election.

Uncontested wins are not uncommon in state polls either. At the beginning of this election season, the BJP secured 10 out of 60 seats in Arunachal Pradesh without facing any opposition.

These seats are located in the Jat and sugarcane belts of the state. According to election authorities, the polls are running well and there are no serious issues with law and order.

Political Jousting Takes Center Stage Ahead of Lok Sabha Polls

On May 7, phase 3 voting will take place in 94 constituencies across 12 states and Union territories (UT). The vote counting will be done on June 4.

Today, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) unveiled a new song resonating with the sentiments of the entire nation. Titled "sapne nahin hakeekat bunte hain, tabhi to sab modi ko chunte hain." (our collective dreams have taken flight!)

Additionally, during the Lok Sabha polls, dry days will be observed.

This visit to North Bengal marks PM Modi's first since the region was struck by a severe storm, causing widespread devastation. PM Modi will headline the campaign event in support of BJP's sitting MP and Lok Sabha candidate Jayanta Kumar Roy.

BJP Sudhanshu Trivedi emphasized that despite ruling the country for over five decades, the party now espouses 'nyay' while failing to rectify past injustices during its tenure.
