For Karnataka, hung assembly has been a customary norm but this time INC passed the test of democracy, where it's actually hanging is the decision to choose a chief minister out of two impactful and strong leaders who are in the race and no one seems to back off.

Both Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar supporters were spotted shouting slogans and demanding that the Congress party choose their leader as Karnataka's Chief Minister.

The observers spoke individually to all the newly elected MLAs after dinner at a private hotel on Sunday night and completed the process late at night.
