Delhi chief minister

AAP's Rajya Sabha MP, Swati Maliwal, found herself in a distressing situation when she was allegedly harassed by Arvind Kejriwal's personal assistant at the Delhi Chief Minister's residence.

According to the ED, the High Court's decision to deny relief to Kejriwal was based on thorough consideration of the facts, affirming his involvement in the formulation of the Excise Policy 2021-22.

Delhi Minister Atishi rejected the jail report, asserting that Kejriwal had been administering 50 units of insulin even on the day preceding his incarceration.

Delhi Congress chief Arvinder Singh Lovely said,“Democracy is in danger. Our leader (Congress MP) Rahul Gandhi is fighting to save democracy. We are standing strong with the partners of INDIA alliance.”

Earlier petitions sought to annul all proceedings, including ED summonses, citing Kejriwal's role as a vocal critic of the ruling party, an opposition leader, and a member of the INDIA bloc.

AAP raised concerns over the alleged sealing of their Delhi office, calling for intervention from the Election Commission to ensure fair play during the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.

The ED has filed the fresh complaint under Section 174 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) regarding non-attendance in obedience to a public servant's order, read with Section 63(4) of the PMLA, which addresses intentional disobedience of directions.

The motion passed with a voice vote, with 54 out of AAP's 62 MLAs present, underscoring the party's substantial majority in the 70-member Delhi Assembly.

If we look at the history of the last three decades of the BJP in Delhi, along with the discussion on the team formation of the state BJP, it is known that the party is getting weaker at the organizational level.

The BJP earlier claimed that about Rs 45 crore was spent on the "beautification" of the Delhi chief minister's official residence and demanded his resignation on "moral" grounds.
