Zodiac Matches That Make The Best Couples
After Team India’s outstanding performance against New Zealand in the ODI World Cup semi-final, Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the Indian team on creating history in the ODI World Cup. The Prime Minister’s congratulations included a special mention for the night’s star, Muhammad Shami.
The premier cricket player wrote a thank-you note to the prime minister in response.
India set a massive 398-run mark for New Zealand, and both Shreyas Iyer and Virat Kohli scored hundreds. India won by 70 runs as New Zealand made 327 runs. India has now won the World Cup for ten years running, and they will now play in the finals on Sunday in Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium.
“Today’s Semi Final has been even more special thanks to stellar individual performances too. The bowling by Mohammad Shami in this game and also through the World Cup will be cherished by cricket lovers for generations to come, the Prime Minister tweeted.
Replying to Narendra Modi’s tweet Mohammad Shami said, “Thank you so much sir.”
After taking seven wickets, Mohammad Shami dismissed the form-leading Kiwi skipper Kane Williamson and reversed the tide of the contest with two significant wickets in an over. Taking the most wickets in the world cup so far is Mohammad Shami, who claimed his third five-wicket haul.
Home Minister Amit Shah tweeted, “Enter into the final like a Boss. What an electrifying display of cricketing prowess. All the best for the showdown. Let’s get the cup.”
