NCP Chief Sharad Pawar has decided not to participate in the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony on January 22. In a letter addressed to the General Secretary of Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, Champat Rai, Pawar stated that he plans to visit the temple after the ceremony. He mentioned, "After the pran pratistha ceremony is completed on January 22, I will freely take out time and come for darshan, and by then, the construction work of the Ram temple will also be completed."
56 Varieties Of Agra’s Famous ‘Petha’ Delivered As Offering To Lord Ram In Ayodhya
Fifty-six varieties of Agra's famous 'petha' and as many different flavours was delivered as an offering to Lord Ram, an official statement said. Every section of the society is on Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's appeal for public participation contributing for the Ram temple inauguration in an expression of their devotion and happiness. In addition to over 560 kg 'petha', the temple trust has also received gem studded dress, silver plate and other puja materials from various places. The 56 varieties of 'petha' sent by Panchi Petha was brought by the Agra Trade Board and accepted at Karsevakpuram in the presence of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Ramlal Ji and Rajendra Singh Pankaj of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), the statement said.
108-Feet-Long Incense Stick Lit At Ayodhya
Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust Mahant Nritya Gopal Das on Tuesday lit a 108-foot-long incense stick brought here from Gujarat. Das lit the incense stick amid a huge crowd chanting "Jai Shri Ram". It has been claimed that the fragrance from the incense stick will reach a distance of 50 km. The incense stick weighing 3,610 kg has a width of around three-and-a-half feet. It has been brought to this Uttar Pradesh town from Gujarat's Vadodara. Cow dung, ghee, essence, flower extracts and herbs were used to prepare the incense stick, which, once lit, will last for about a month and a half.
BJP leaders Fadnavis, Bawankule take part in ‘routine’ meeting with RSS office-bearers
Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, state BJP president Chandrashekar Bawankule and some other party office-bearers on Monday took part in a "routine" coordination meeting with RSS functionaries in Nagpur where the upcoming inauguration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya was among the issues that were discussed. The meeting was held at Dr Hedgewar Smruti Mandir campus in the Reshimbagh area of the city, sources in the BJP and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) said.

Four Nigerian nationals, including a woman, have been taken into police custody for illegally living in Greater Noida, officials said on Monday. During a verification drive on Sunday, the foreigners were found with expired visas, they said, adding legal procedures have been started for their deportation. Three Person Including A Woman Held Detained With 25 Kg Heroin
Three persons including a woman were arrested on Monday with 25.25kg heroin in Jharkhand's Palamu district, police said. Palamu SP Reeshma Ramesan in a press release said the arrested were identified as Ajanti Devi (39), Raja Oraon (23) and Mohit Kumar (27). She said they were arrested during a raid at Jailhata area in Medininagar town.
Two Electrocuted In TN After Bus Brushes Against Electric Pole; Case Registered
Two persons were electrocuted in the district when a bus brushed against an electric pole, leading to the snapping of a live wire which fell on the vehicle, police said. The victims were identified as 49 year-old Nagaraj, the driver of the government bus, and Balaji (51), a passenger. As many as 30 other passengers escaped unhurt, police added. The accident took place at Malavancherampadi when the bus, negotiating a turn, brushed against the electric pole, following which the wire snapped and fell on the vehicle, they said.
