Parliament Security Breach Case Handed Over To Special Cell Of Delhi Police

Parliament security breach issue: The investigation has been handed over to the Special Cell of Delhi Police. The Anti Terror Unit of Delhi Police will now investigate this matter. The four accused present at Sansad Marg Police Station are being handed over to the Special Cell. Several dozen teams of this cell are conducting raids at many places in Delhi, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. Delhi Police Special Cell will investigate various points including the educational background of the four accused, their involvement in past activities including any protests or rallies and did they visit Parliament before yesterday's incident. The probe will also focus on investigating their social media activities and history.

Enquiry Committee Set Up To Know The Reason Behind Security Breach In Parliament

On request from Lok Sabha Secretariat, MHA has ordered an Enquiry into parliament security breach incident. An Enquiry Committee has been set up under Shri Anish Dayal Singh, DG, CRPF, with members from other security agencies and experts. The Enquiry Committee will investigate the reasons for the security breach of Parliament, identify lapses, and recommend further action. The Committee will submit its report with recommendations, including suggestions on improving security in Parliament, at the earliest.

Ludhiana Police Killed Criminal In An Encounter On Kohda Machhiwada Road

Ludhiana Police has killed a criminal in an encounter on Kohda Machhiwada Road. While three accused have been arrested by the police. During this firing, an ASI of the police was also injured and was shot in his thigh. While a police officer survived because he was wearing a bulletproof jacket. These miscreants were wanted in about two dozen robberies and other criminal incidents.

A special request has been made by BCCI to include the veteran cricketer as originally he didn't feature in the list of the country's second-highest sporting honour. Meanwhile, men's doubles badminton pair Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty have been reportedly selected for the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award.

GOI And Asian Development Bank (ADB) Signed Loan Agreement Of 200 Million Dollars For State Of Uttarakhand

Government of India and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) have signed a loan agreement of 200 million dollars to improve the quality, efficiency, and reliability of power supply in the State of Uttarakhand. The signatories to the loan agreement for the Uttarakhand Climate Resilient Power System Development Project were Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Finance, Juhi Mukherjee and Deputy Country Director and Officer-in-Charge of ADB’s India Resident Mission, Hoe Yun Jeong.

The income-tax raid at different places of Asansol Burnpur of Paschim Bardhaman district of the State is continuing. The IT personnel started the raid at the home of former TMC MLA Mr Sohrab Ali in the Rahmat Nagar area. The home and office of a business man Imtiyaz Ahmed in the Dharampur area are also being raided.

ED Provisionally Attached Properties Of Kishan Chand Valued At Rs. 31.88 Crore Under Provisions Of PMLA

ED has provisionally attached immovable properties valued at Rs. 31.88 Crore in the form of School and Stone Crusher along with land and building situated at Haridwar and Roorkee belonging to the accused, Kishan Chand (IFoS) and his family members under the provisions of PMLA, 2002 in the Disproportionate Asset (DA) case against the accused.

ED Files Prosecution Compliant against Bakibur Rahaman, Jyoti Priya Mallick And Others Before Ld. Special PMLA Court

ED has filed Prosecution Compliant (PC) against Bakibur Rahaman, NPG Rice Mill Pvt. Ltd., Jyoti Priya Mallick, presently Minister-In-Charge of Forest Affairs and Non-Conventional and Renewable Energy Sources of Government of West Bengal (earlier, Minister-In-Charge of Food and Supply Department. Govt. of West Bengal) and others before the Ld. Special PMLA Court, Kolkata on 12.12.2023 in a case related to alleged siphoning of PDS ration to open market, mixing of wheat flour in fresh flour and bogus paddy procurement. The Hon’ble Court has taken cognizance of the PC on 12/12/2023.

Prema Kumari, Mother Of Nimisha Priya – Facing Death Penalty In Yemen Thanked SC For Its Verdict On The Case

Prema Kumari, mother of Nimisha Priya, who is facing the death penalty in Yemen, says, "I am grateful and happy about this SC Verdict (that she can travel to Yemen to meet her daughter Nimisha). Thanks to Advocates and to the Yemen government. Yesterday I was shocked when I got to know this verdict. Last week it wasn't allowed. I got permission to travel with Samuel Brother who is the one who brought the plight of Nimisha Priya into the media. She has been in jail since 2017. I have Been trying to go there to apologize to the family of the deceased. I am expecting them to forgive my daughter considering her girl child who is 10 years old. We failed in proving her innocent. It doesn't matter now. We are grateful to Samuel Jerome Brother, the action Council, the Union Government and other well-wishers for their help."
