Maharashtra ATS Nabs Naval Dock Employee for Espionage: Gaurav Patil (23) Arrested on Charges of Sharing Confidential Information with Pakistani Intelligence
Maharashtra ATS has arrested an accused on charges of collating confidential information about the Indian Government with a Pakistani agency. A youth named Gaurav Patil (23), who worked in the Naval Dock (Civil apprentice) has been arrested in the matter. The accused was in touch with the agent of a Pakistan-based Intelligence Operative (PIO) through WhatsApp and Facebook. NIA Raids Multiple Locations in Bengaluru, Karnataka, Uncovering LeT Terrorist’s Radicalization of Prisoners; Digital Devices, Incriminating Documents, and Rs 7.3 Lakhs Seized in Operation
NIA issues statement: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday raided multiple locations across Bengaluru, Karnataka, in a case relating to radicalization of prisoners by a Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist. A total of six locations, including the houses of four accused, one of whom is still absconding, were extensively searched today as part of NIA’s continuing investigations into the case (RC-28/2023/NIA/DLI). The other locations that were searched were premises connected with two other suspects. In the raids, the NIA teams seized a host of digital devices, various incriminating documents, and cash amounting to Rs 7.3 lakhs during the raids, conducted at the premises of Mohammed Umar, Mohammed Faisal Rabbani, Tanveer Ahmed and Mohammed Farooq, as well as absconder Junaid Ahmed. Three accused are currently absconding in the case, registered under various sections of IPC, UA(P) Act, 1967 and Explosive Substances Act, 1884.

Nagaland Police Busts Major Drug Trafficking Nexus: 60 Kgs of Heroin Worth Rs 400 Crore Seized, 12 Arrested Across Nagaland, Manipur
Nagaland Police has unearthed one of the largest nexus operating drug trafficking network spreading across mainly Nagaland, Manipur, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, and Punjab also possibly other states of country. An arrest was made from Sechu Zubza under Kohima District on November 13, wherein two traffickers from Manipur were caught carrying Heroin and upon interrogation the two accused is suspected to have trafficked around 60 Kgs of heroin worth about Rs 400 crore within a span of one year. Director General of Police ( DGP) Nagaland, Rupin Sharma says the police has successfully so far nabbed 12 persons who are part of this network and they belong to Nagaland, Manipur and Assam.
