Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to gift projects worth Rs 12,000 crore to his parliamentary constituency Varanasi during his two-day visit on December 17-18. The PM will inaugurate 17 projects and lay the foundation stone of 11 projects. Among the projects to be inaugurated by Modi will be Shivpur-Phulwaria-Lahartara four-lane road project. PM may also announce the launch of another Vande Bharat train between Varanasi and Delhi. The first Vande Bharat train was launched from Varanasi in 2019.
