“No consequences if PM face not projected”:NCP supremo Sharad Pawar
NCP supremo Sharad Pawar has said no prime ministerial face was projected during the 1977 Lok Sabha polls (post Emergency). Pawar said, "After the polls, Moraraji Desai was made the Prime Minister. There are no consequences if a face is not projected. If people are in the mood for change, they will take a call to bring about that change." Pawar's remark came as the Opposition INDIA bloc is yet to project a prime ministerial face for the upcoming 2024 elections.
India records 412 fresh COVID-19 cases
India has recorded 412 fresh cases of COVID-19, while the number of active cases of the infection has gone up to 4,170, the health ministry said on Tuesday. The death toll due to the viral disease was recorded at 5,33,337 with three new fatalities reported from Karnataka in a span of 24 hours, according to the ministry's data updated at 8 am. India's Covid case tally currently stands at 4,50,09,660.

Delhi airport: 2 flights diverted, nearly 30 delayed due to dense fog
Two flights were diverted and nearly 30 flights were delayed at the Delhi airport on Tuesday morning due to dense fog. One flight each of IndiGo and SpiceJet were diverted to Jaipur, an official said. As per information available on the Delhi airport website, around 30 flights have been delayed in the morning.
