External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar arrives in Moscow, Russia. He is on a visit to Russia from 25th December to 29th December 2023. During this visit, EAM will meet Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Denis Manturov to discuss matters related to economic engagement. EAM will meet his counterpart, the Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov for discussion on bilateral, multilateral and international issues.

Mumbai: Fire destroys 25-30 two-wheelers at the mall; no report of injuries
A fire gutted 25-30 two-wheelers at Phoenix Mall in Mumbai's Lower Parel area on Monday afternoon, though no one was hurt in the incident, a civic official said. The blaze started on the premises at 1:15 pm and was doused sometime later at 1:40 pm, the fire brigade official said. "The blaze was doused by those around using a hydrant line of the mall itself before fire brigade personnel arrived with one fire tending vehicle. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained," he said.
Hamirpur BJP fumes over breaking of plaque bearing minister’s name
The state BJP on Sunday warned of an agitation if the government did not take any action against those who damaged a structure whose foundation stone was laid down by Union Minister Anurag Thakur. A foundation plaque that bore the name of the minister and marked the Taropka to Jamli Dham link road in Taropka village was removed and thrown down, according to a statement issued by BJP Hamirpur Mandal spokesperson Vikramjit Singh Banyal. He alleged that some people are committing petty acts of vandalism under the nose of the police and administration. Earlier a foundation stone plaque in the Bhoranj assembly constituency was vandalized, he said. The BJP Mandal workers have filed a complaint in the matter and the police have registered a case.
