On the Tritiya Tithi of Shardiya Navratri, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the 18th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, delivering a significant financial boost to farmers. The event took place in Washim, Maharashtra, benefiting 9.4 crore farmers across the country, including 2.25 crore farmers in Uttar Pradesh alone. The state received a total of ₹4,985.49 crore, transferred directly to farmers’ accounts.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed his gratitude towards PM Modi for this timely assistance. He emphasized that the funds are a blessing for farmers during the auspicious Navratri festival. The CM acknowledged the Prime Minister’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the lives of farmers, ensuring they become self-reliant and prosperous.
CM Adityanath highlighted that the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi is crucial for the economic welfare of farmers. He noted that the latest installment will provide essential support to more than 2.25 crore farmers in Uttar Pradesh. The Prime Minister’s decision to transfer over ₹20,000 crore to farmers nationwide under this welfare scheme marks a significant step in aiding agricultural prosperity.
In a message on social media platform ‘X’, the Chief Minister thanked PM Modi on behalf of farmers in Uttar Pradesh, calling the funds a “gift like a boon” during the sacred Sharadiya Navratri. This support will help farmers continue their vital contributions to the nation.
