On the Tritiya Tithi of Shardiya Navratri, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the 18th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, delivering a significant financial boost to farmers. The event took place in Washim, Maharashtra, benefiting 9.4 crore farmers across the country, including 2.25 crore farmers in Uttar Pradesh alone. The state received a total of ₹4,985.49 crore, transferred directly to farmers’ accounts.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed his gratitude towards PM Modi for this timely assistance. He emphasized that the funds are a blessing for farmers during the auspicious Navratri festival. The CM acknowledged the Prime Minister’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the lives of farmers, ensuring they become self-reliant and prosperous.
