Russian President Vladimir Putin and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni led international greetings for Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 76th birthday.

Sri Lankan Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa wished PM Modi good health, happiness and fulfilling years ahead. He highlighted Modi’s efforts to deepen India-Sri Lanka ties.

Former Maldives presidents Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and Mohamed Nasheed extended birthday wishes to Prime Minister Modi.

Sri Lankan High Commissioner to India Mahishini Colonné, Swiss Ambassador Maya Tissafi and former Israeli Ambassador Daniel Carmon separately conveyed their greetings.

The Embassy of the Netherlands in India recalled the strategic partnership signed during PM Modi’s May 2026 Netherlands visit.

Carmon called Prime Minister Modi a respected world leader and a friend of Israel. Tissafi highlighted opportunities for deeper Switzerland-India cooperation, while the Netherlands mission noted stronger bilateral ties.
