Watch: Indian Women Anju Becomes ‘Fatima’; Marries Pakistani Lover, Video Viral

According to Pakistani media, the Indian woman who had legally entered a rural area in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of has married her Pakistani lover Nasrullah and converted to Islam.

She changed her name to Fatima after becoming a Muslim. The couple’s union was formally completed at a nikah ceremony held at the Upper Dir district courts. The couple even made a video named “Anju weds Nasrullah” after their wedding.

In the video, Anju and Nasrullah can be seen holding hands while touring the area’s picturesque mountainous areas.

Anju, now known as Fatima, had earlier stated that she had no intention of wed Nasrullah as she went there to meet her and will return to India on August 20 when her visa ends. Anju is already married in India and has two children. Anju was a Christian before converting to Islam. However according to Aaj Tak, Nasrullah denied the fact of being married to Anju. Not only this, Nasrullah also said that Anju (Fatima) is his friend and he does not love her. However, in the meantime, the Nikahnama of both of them came to the fore, which is raising questions on Nasrullah’s claims.

In the video that has surfaced from Pakistan, Anju has been taken to the court. Regarding Anju being produced in the court, Nasrullah said that they had gone to the court for her safety. He said that Anju is a foreigner so she can be attacked anytime.

Although Nasrullah did not tell who could attack her. On the other hand, regarding marriage, he said that whatever Anju wishes will happen, if Anju says no, we will not get married. On the claims of getting married, he said that all this is a lie and rumors are being spread.

According to Mushtaq Khan, District Police Officer of Upper Dir district, Anju has told the police that she has divorced her husband in India. The police also told that she has come to Pakistan from India to find her love and is living here happily.

The police officer further added, “The investigation of Anju’s arrival in Pakistan has been completed. She has come to Pakistan on a one-month visit visa and all her documents are valid and correct.

Anju is a resident of Uttar Pradesh in India. She works in a private company and was married to Arvind in the year 2007. After marriage, Anju lived with her husband in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan.

After marriage, she also has two children from Arvind. Anju came in contact with Nasrullah through Facebook and then they became friends. After this both started talking on the phone as well and then she reached Pakistan to meet him. Anju had said ‘I have known Nasrullah for two-three years and I told my mother and father about him on the very first day.”
