Google’s Fintech Operations Center

The Prime Minister welcomed Google’s plans to open a global fintech operations center at the Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT) in Gandhinagar. This move underlines Google’s commitment to the financial sector in India.

Financial Inclusion and Investment

Sundar Pichai informed the Prime Minister about Google’s plans to improve financial inclusion in India, leveraging GPay and UPI, which are integral to digital payments and financial services in the country.
