Realme C85 5G Packs Big Battery, Fast Display & IP69 Strength At A Budget Price

Realme has launched the C85 5G in India, bringing a powerful battery, a smooth display, and rugged build quality to the budget segment. The phone debuted on November 28 and entered the market as one of the most feature-loaded devices in its price bracket.

Realme equips the C85 5G with a massive 7000 mAh battery. The company claims it can run 22 hours of video playback, 50 hours of calling, and 145 hours of music.

The phone also supports 45W fast charging and reverse wired charging, allowing users to power accessories or other devices quickly.

The device features a 6.8-inch HD+ IPS LCD. The panel runs at a 144 Hz refresh rate and peaks at 1200 nits brightness.

This combination delivers smooth scrolling and clear visibility outdoors. A 180 Hz touch sampling rate boosts responsiveness during gaming and multitasking.

Powering the phone is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with a Mali-G57 GPU.

Realme offers the device with up to 6 GB LPDDR4X RAM, along with Dynamic RAM Expansion, and 128 GB UFS 2.2 storage. These specifications aim to provide stable performance for daily use and casual gaming.

The C85 5G sports a 50-megapixel Sony IMX852 main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and PDAF for faster autofocus.

The front houses an 8-megapixel selfie camera capable of recording 1080p video.

Durability is a key highlight. The phone carries IP69, IP68, and IP66 ratings for dust and water resistance. It also meets MIL-STD-810H shock-resistance standards.

Realme even secured a Guinness World Record for the most people testing water resistance on a phone, showcasing its confidence in the device’s build quality.

Price and Availability

The phone comes in two variants: 4 GB + 128 GB and 6 GB + 128 GB, priced at ₹15,499 and ₹16,999, respectively.

An early-bird offer knocks ₹500 off both models. Sales begin on 1 December on Flipkart, Realme’s website, and offline stores. Buyers can choose between Parrot Purple and Peacock Green.

With its big battery, fast display, tough build and 5G support, the Realme C85 5G aims to give budget-conscious users a balanced and feature-rich option.
