Authorities have apprehended two individuals hailing from Haryana on charges of engaging in fraudulent activities during an examination. The exam conducted by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) was held to recruit technical personnel at the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC).
According to a senior law enforcement official, the duo was arrested separately at two different examination centres. They were found to be employing unfair methods to answer the test questions. The arrests were formally documented on Sunday night.
Furthermore, the officer revealed that an additional four individuals from Haryana were taken into custody in relation to this incident. An investigation is currently underway to determine whether they participated in the examination.

The arrested individuals face charges of cheating, and the authorities are also looking into the involvement of others, including potential links to coaching centres.
It has been disclosed by the police that the arrested candidates were using mobile phone cameras to capture images of the test questions. Subsequently, these images were transmitted to an individual external to the examination hall, who provided answers via Bluetooth devices concealed in their ears.
The police statement also indicated that the information leading to the apprehension of these individuals was received through an anonymous tip from Haryana.
