A tractor ran over a 29-year-old stuntman who was performing at a fair in Batala, Gurdaspur, Punjab, crushing him to death. During the fair, the stuntman—who goes by Sukhmandeep Singh—got underneath his own tractor while he was doing a stunt.
The tragic incident’s video went viral on social media. Sukhmandeep Singh showed up with his tractor to do a stunt at the fair, which was held on the Sarachur village sports field. He put his tractor’s back tyres on the ground, raised the front wheels, and began to run beside it.
But the tractor lost control and began hurtling towards the crowd. Sukhmandeep Singh was trapped underneath tractor when he tried to regain control of it. Sukhmandeep Singh was under the tractor, and two nearby people tried to save him, but it was too late.
The fair management declared the event to be cancelled after the incident happened.
As the sole child of his parents, Sukhmandeep Singh, a resident of Fatehgarh Churian, took an active part in the farmers’ march. The fair was cancelled by the organisers following Sukhmandeep’s death.
