Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Kerala on Tuesday evening, where he will spend the next few days holding a roadshow, speaking to a gathering of BJP party workers, and touring two significant temples in the Thrissur district.
According to party sources, Modi is scheduled to land at the Nedumbassery airport at nearly 5 p.m. and then head to Ernakulam city for a roadshow that starts at 6 p.m. According to the sources, during the roadshow, the PM will travel 1.3 kilometres from Maharajas College Ground to the Ernakulam government guest house in an open vehicle. Modi will depart for Guruvayur on Wednesday, where he will attend the marriage of actor-turned-politician Suresh Gopi’s daughter and offer prayers at the well-known Lord Krishna temple.
According to the sources, he will also pray at the Triprayar Sree Rama Swami Temple in the Thrissur district before leaving for Kochi. He will dedicate the Cochin Shipyard Ltd. international vessel repair centre and new dry dock at Kochi’s Willingdon Island to the nation, according to a statement.
He will then speak at a party meeting at Marine Drive here at 11 a.m. for about 6,000 in-charges of “shakti kendras,” which are each made up of two to three booth-level areas.
