PM Modi To Celebrate Rashtriya Ekta Diwas In Gujarat’s Kevadia On October 31

On October 31, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will pay tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on the occasion of his 148th birthday at ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas’ event in Kevadia, Gujarat.

As part of his two-day visit to Gujarat, the PM will stop by Kevadia on Tuesday and pay floral tribute at the Statue of Unity. According to a statement, he will also see the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Parade, which will feature marching contingents from the BSF and other state police.

Prior to this, on October 30 at approximately 10:30 AM, PM will perform Pooja and Darshan at the state’s Ambaji Temple. At approximately 12 PM, he will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate a number of development projects in Mehsana.

The Prime Minister led a historic decision to celebrate Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birth anniversary as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas in order to further invigorate the spirit of preserving and strengthening the unity, integrity, and security of the nation.

In Kevadia, the Prime Minister will also officially open and lay foundation stone for a number of development projects valued at Rs 160 crore. The Heritage Train, which will run from Ekta Nagar to Ahmedabad, the Narmada Aarti Live project, Kamalam Park, a walkway inside the Statue of Unity, 30 new e-buses, 210 e-bikes and several golf carts, as well as the City Gas Distribution Network at Ekta Nagar and Gujarat State Cooperative Bank’s “Sahkar Bhawan,” are among the projects that will be inaugurated.
