Parliament Security Breach Sparks Controversy
In a significant development, 15 MPs faced suspension from Parliament during the ongoing winter session—14 from Lok Sabha and one from Rajya Sabha. Their suspension resulted from holding placards and demanding a detailed response from the Home Minister regarding a recent security breach.
The list of suspended Lok Sabha MPs includes Benny Behanan, VK Sreekandan, Mohammad Jawed, PR Natarajan, Kanimozhi Karunanidhi, K Subrahmanyam, SR Parthiban, S Venkatesan, Manickam Tagore, TN Prathapan, Hibi Eden, S Jothimani, Ramya Haridas, and Dean Kuriakose.
Opposition MPs, expressing their discontent, addressed the media on the suspension.
