In a touching display of empathy and generosity, Ankit, a young boy, has captured the internet’s heart by using a portion of his tournament prize money to purchase a mobile phone for the family’s cook. The heartwarming narrative, shared by Ankit’s father, V. Balaji, on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), quickly went viral, resonating with audiences and eliciting admiration for the boy’s innocence paired with mature compassion.

Mr Balaji posted a picture of Ankit presenting the mobile phone to their cook, Saroja, along with a caption that read, “Ankit has so far earned 7K by playing weekend tournaments. And today he got our Cook Saroja a mobile phone for 2K from his winnings. She has been taking care of him since he was 6 Months. As parents @meerabalaji3107 I can’t be more happier.”
