Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his support for the Interim Budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.

Sitharaman briefed the House on the advantages, stating that "households will save up to ₹15,000-18,000 annually from free solar electricity and selling the surplus to the distribution companies."

Ahead of the parliamentary elections, Sitharaman unveiled her sixth consecutive budget on Thursday.

Presenting the interim Budget 2024-25, Sitharaman said tax receipts for 2024-25 projected is projected at Rs 26.02 lakh crore.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman recently presented the interim budget for the fiscal year 2024-25 before upcoming elections.

The finance minister added that in the previous ten years, women have received 30 crore loans under the Mudra Yojana.
