Over 80 Crore People In India Receive Free Rations, But Pakistan Faces Hunger: CM Yogi Adityanath

Amroha: At a political event on Friday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath evoked Pakistan, saying that while people in the neighbouring nation are suffering from hunger, 80 crore people in India are receiving free rations. Addressing a vote rally in Amroha, western Uttar Pradesh, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader also stated that the saffron party’s “phir ek baar Modi sarkar” slogan is resonating throughout the country.

Adityanath addressed Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a rally in favor of Kanwar Singh Tanwar, the BJP’s candidate for the Amroha constituency in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Pakistan, which has a population of about 23-24 crore, was created following split in 1947 and is currently suffering from starvation.

“This is another example: on one side, there is Pakistan, and on the other, there is the promise of free rations for more than 80 crore people,” the chief minister remarked. The BJP’s Lok Sabha election manifesto promises to continue providing free rations to over 80 crore people in the country for the next five years.

Adityanath stated that just one chant is being heard from all directions: ‘phir ek baar Modi sarkar.’ Welcoming Modi to Amroha, he praised him for bringing about dramatic reforms in the country.

Adityanath addressed the audience as polling began in eight western Uttar Pradesh constituencies in the first phase of the Lok Sabha elections. Amroha will vote in the second phase on April 26.

Tanwar won the Amroha seat in 2014, but was defeated in 2019 by Danish Ali, then a member of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). Ali is back in the race from Amroha on a Congress ticket.
