Amroha: Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused past governments of defrauding the SC, ST, and OBC groups in the name of social justice on Friday, claiming that he is trying to realize the dreams of social reformers Jyotiba Phule, B R Ambedkar, and Chaudhary Charan Singh. The prime minister also took a veiled jab at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav, claiming that the “do shehzade ki jodi” has been rejected by the people.
Addressing a poll rally in support of Kanwar Singh Tanwar, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate for the Amroha Lok Sabha constituency in western Uttar Pradesh, Modi said, “Previous governments have only cheated the people of SC (Scheduled Caste), ST (Scheduled Tribe), and OBC (Other Backward Classes) communities in the name of social justice.”
Modi is striving tirelessly to realize the social justice dreams of Jyotiba Phule, Ambedkar, and (former Prime Minister) Chaudhary Charan Singh, he added. The prime minister addressed a rally as polling began in eight western Uttar Pradesh constituencies for the first phase of the Lok Sabha elections. Amroha will vote in the second phase on April 26.
In a veiled assault on Gandhi and Yadav, Modi stated that filming for ‘do Shehzad ki jodi (pair of two princes)’ is already underway. However, their film has already been rejected.
Every time these individuals go out to solicit votes from the people of Uttar Pradesh, they bring a basket of dynasty, corruption, and appeasement. They leave no opportunity to challenge our beliefs.
The prime minister attacked the Congress candidate from Amroha, Danish Ali, and said that he had problems chanting “Bharat Mata ki jai”. “Will someone who cannot embrace Bharat Mata ki Jai look well in the Indian Parliament? Should such a person be permitted to enter the Indian Parliament?” He inquired at the rally.
Modi slammed the opposition, saying that the SP and Congress denied an invitation to the Ram temple’s dedication ceremony in Ayodhya. People looking for vote banks declined the invitation to the event. They are dissatisfied after declining the invitation, so they trash the Ram temple and Sanatan Dharma. The SP refers to Ram bhakts as ‘pakhandi’ (hypocrite) in order to get votes. People in the INDIA bloc despise Sanatan Dharma.
The prime minister claimed that when he went beneath the sea to offer prayers in Gujarat’s Dwarka, where Lord Krishna had gone from Amroha, Congress told him there was nothing to pray for under the sea. They reject our beliefs just for the sake of gaining votes.
Hitting out at Yadav and Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav, he stated, “Those in Bihar who claim to be Yaduvanshis, in UP, leaders who benefit from being Yaduvanshi, I want to ask them, how can they sit with a party that insults Lord Krishna? “How can you reach an agreement with them?”
Modi accused vote-bank politics of causing communal riots, saying, “This vote-bank politics burned UP in the fire of riots. The people of Uttar Pradesh will never forget the Goonda Raj era. People needed to relocate because of it.” But Yogiji (Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath) removed criminals for your protection. We must guarantee that these forces are not reinforced in any way.
The prime minister opened his speech with an appeal to voters. “I appeal to everyone to exercise their right to vote given by the Constitution,” he told the crowd. Modi emphasized the need for young people to vote to safeguard their own and the country’s futures. Attacking the INDIA opposition coalition, he stated, “Those in the INDI alliance are using their strengths to push villages backward.” Adityanath accompanied the prime minister on the dais.
