Currently NCP has 53 MLAs in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly in which 14 MLA support Sharad Pawar and 24 MLA are with Ajit Pawar.
Sharad Pawar faction issued a whip to party members to be present for meeting in Mumbai whereas Ajit Pawar faction requested to all former legislators, parliamentarians and working committee members to attend meeting in Bandra.
