Yati Narasimhanand’s recent remarks have sparked unrest. He urged people to burn effigies of Prophet Mohammed during Dussehra, deeply offending the Muslim community and threatening communal harmony.
MRM’s Strong Response
The Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM) condemned Narasimhanand’s statement. They called it a deliberate attempt to incite hatred. The MRM announced a national campaign to file FIRs against him. In an online meeting with over 100 activists, national conveners, and regional leaders, the group agreed on strict action. Leaders like Mohammad Afzal, Dr. Shahid Akhtar, and Virag Pachpore participated in the discussion.
Legal Action and Widespread Protest
MRM National Convener Shahid Sayeed said activists would file FIRs across the country. “This hate speech targets not just Muslims but the entire nation,” he said. He vowed to fight this legally and socially. Despite multiple FIRs in the past, no action has been taken against Narasimhanand.
Dr. Shahid Akhtar called for severe punishment to stop such hate-mongering. Dr. Shalini Ali announced a national movement. MRM plans to unite communities to fight hate speech and promote peace. The group will raise awareness and urge citizens to reject divisive politics.
MRM leaders promised to continue until Narasimhanand faces justice. They stressed the need to protect India’s unity and communal harmony.
