Maharashtra: Father Kills Son After Objection On His Loud Phone Conversation In Nagpur

In a village in Maharashtra’s Nagpur district, a man allegedly killed his 28-year-old son after a furious fight over the latter’s loud phone talk, according to police on Wednesday.

The man passed away the next day while receiving treatment in a hospital following the event that happened on Monday in Pipra village, around 30 kilometers from Nagpur city, according to an official.

The officer further stated that after the event, Ramrao Kakde, the accused, was taken into custody.

“Kakde hit his son, Suraj, with a steel rod following a heated argument after the latter objected to his loud phone conversation. Suraj was admitted to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday,” the police said.

The father-son pair was intoxicated when the incident happened, according to a police report.

According to the police, Kakde was arrested and charged with murder under section 302 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
