‘Lord Hanuman Visited Ram Mandir For Ram Lalla’s Darshan’: Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust

Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust shared an amazing story related to what happened on the consecration day of Ayodhya Ram Mandir. The trust claims in a post on X that a monkey went inside the temple’s sanctum sanctorum, which is the house of Ram Lalla’s idol.

What happened?

It said that a monkey went via the southern gate of the temple and entered the vestibule at approximately 5:50 p.m. on Tuesday. It then came at the utsav idol, an ancient statue of Ram Lalla that was kept in a tent before the construction of the present temple.

Concerned for the safety of the idol, security guards stationed nearby hurried over to the monkey. But the monkey quietly made his way to the locked northern gate. It then left from the eastern gate, causing no harm as it went through the throng of worshippers.

Hindus believe monkeys are associated to Lord Hanuman

According to the trust, the security staff thought the monkey’s visit was a gift from God and Lord Hanuman himself visited Ram Lalla.

The common belief that monkeys are associated with Hanuman, the vanara deity who is loyal to Lord Ram and a major character in the Ramayana.
