The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has assigned former Chief Engineer Awanindra Kumar Singh a key role in monitoring major development schemes.
Vice-Chairman Prathmesh Kumar has placed his confidence in Singh’s experience by entrusting him with inspection and advisory responsibilities across several projects.
An order issued on October 16, 2026, states that Singh will periodically inspect the Rashtra Prerna Sthal, IT City, Wellness City, Naimish Nagar and Varun Vihar schemes.
He will also provide recommendations to support the progress and quality of the ongoing development work.
Singh had earlier accepted an appointment as an adviser to the Rashtra Prerna Sthal, developed under the Basant Kunj scheme.
The latest order broadens his responsibilities by including four additional development schemes alongside the existing assignment.
The move places his technical experience at the disposal of the authority as it monitors work across these important projects.
A letter issued by the LDA Vice-Chairman directs Awanindra Kumar Singh to conduct inspections of ongoing work at regular intervals and submit his recommendations to the authority.
The suggestions are expected to help officials review project progress and address implementation-related issues.
The assignment reflects the LDA’s approach of drawing on experienced officials to strengthen oversight of its major development initiatives.
Regular inspections and expert guidance can help the authority assess progress and improve execution.
Awanindra Kumar Singh will therefore strengthen oversight and ensure the timely implementation of development work across Lucknow’s key schemes.
