Union Law Minister Meghwal was speaking among the advocates at a welcome and felicitation function organized in his honour by the High Court Bar Association in the historic library hall.

On seeking suggestions, a woman advocate raised the issue of housing for advocates. The Chairman clarified that a plan should be made to provide plots or housing to lawyers at cheap rates by acquiring land like the case of judges, officers, etc.Responding on this the minister assured to discuss such a scheme with the help of PDA. He said that the government will provide land and the housing scheme will have to be implemented by forming a lawyers’ society.
