Manisha Kayande joins Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena

Sanjay Raut is very evidently upset over Manisha Kayande joining hands with Eknath Shinde led Shiv Sena. However, while expressing himself in front of media, Raut said that her (Manisha Kayande) leaving “does not make a difference”. In the same line of context he stated that he calls such people “Kachra”, that is garbage.

Manisha however was one of the most promising leaders of Raut’s group. She quit the party on Sunday since she was dismissed from the post of Shiv Sena (UBT) spokesperson on the same day. This came as an additional shock to the party as just a day before Shishir Shinde also quit from the party.

The derogatory ‘Kachra’ remark

Mr. Raut told media that it makes no difference for him even Ms.Manisha leaves the party. He even made a remark on her getting the post of MLC. He stated, “Let it go. What difference does it make? I don’t know where did she come from. I don’t know where did she go. I don’t know who brought her to the party. I don’t know who gave her the MLC post. Such people come and go. I call them Kachra.”

Why did Manisha Kayande join Shiv Sena?

There are many assumptions made that following Manisha Kayande, many female leaders in the party might leave. While quoting the reason for why did she leave the former faction, she said, “The Shiv Sena (UBT) gave me an opportunity to work as its spokesperson and later as an MLC. But when most of its leaders and MLAs, including Eknath Shinde, left last year, the party leadership did not introspect on what was wrong and why people were leaving. I waited for a full year but there is still no change in the party functioning. The leadership (Thackeray) is unwilling to listen to what common party workers are saying. Therefore, I decided to join CM Shinde, who is a dynamic leader.”
