Lok Sabha elections are to be held on Chatra parliamentary seat on 20th May. In such a situation, BJP has made a big move by giving ticket to the local candidate from Chatra. After declaring Kalicharan Singh as its candidate, Bharatiya Janata Party has forced the parties included in India Alliance to face pressure politics. As a consequence Chatra Lok Sabha seat, which has become the hot sheet of Jharkhand, the Grand Alliance has neither announced seat sharing nor given its final seal on the name of the JMM candidate included in the Grand Alliance including RJD and Congress. Due to non-declaration of seats, there is a situation of confusion in the Grand Alliance. State Labor and Planning Minister Satyanand Bhokta has also indicated that the Congress or RJD candidate contesting here will be local. Meanwhile, Congress State Working Committee member Abha Ojha is confident about the Congress candidate. Congress leader Abha Ojha has said that Congress is certain to get Chatra seat. For this, workers of both the parties are also presenting their views in the party forum along with their respective claims.
