The NIA has attached four properties as profits of terrorism in an ISIS module case in Pune, pushing forward with its mandate to dismantle the global terror groups’ network in the nation, according to an official on Sunday. The associated homes in the Kondhwa region are related to 11 persons implicated in the investigation, including three absconders, and were being used for IED creation, training, and terror plotting, according to a federal agency spokesperson. The National
Investigation Agency (NIA) has already charged all 11 people involved in the investigation, which was filed last year.
According to the official, the properties are residential houses or flats linked to the accused Mohammed Imran Khan, Mohammed Yunus Saki, Mohammed Shahnawaz Alam, Md Rizwan Ali, Kadir Dastagir Pathan, Simab Kazi, Zulfikar Ali Barodawala, Abdullah Faiyaz Shaikh, Talha Liyakat Khan, Shamil Nachan, and Aakif Nachan.

According to the NIA, the case involves an ISIS conspiracy to spread terror by carrying out attacks in Maharashtra, Gujarat, and other parts of the country using IED fabrication training workshops and reconnaissance of jungles for firing practices and hideouts, as well as raising terror funds through armed robberies and thefts.
In recent months, the NIA has cracked down on several ISIS modules across many states in an endeavour to disrupt the network of the outlawed global terrorist organization and protect India’s interests. The official stated that investigations into ISIS’s plot and operations are ongoing.
