Delving into further details, he explained that this museum is being developed in the Sarojini Nagar Assembly constituency, situated on the banks of the Adi Ganga, which is a tributary of the Gomti River, within CG City. It is intended to house the original components of ‘INS Gomati,’ a vessel that dutifully served the Indian Navy for a span of 34 years.
The creation of the Navy Shaurya Museum is anticipated to have a positive impact on tourism in the region. Rajeshwar Singh stressed that this museum will not only bolster tourism within the state but also serve as a source of inspiration for the younger generation, with its compelling stories of valor and courage. Moreover, it will introduce the upcoming generations to the remarkable bravery and unwavering spirit of the Indian Navy.
