An all-party Indian parliamentary delegation led by JD(U) MP Sanjay Jha met Korean lawmakers and think tanks in Seoul on Monday, where MPs briefed them on Operation Sindoor and highlighted India’s strong zero-tolerance policy on terrorism.
The delegation said India makes no distinction between terrorists and states that back them. They asked South Korea to support efforts to punish terrorist organisers, funders, and attackers.
Korean MP Yun Ho-jung condemned all forms of terrorism. He said terrorism is unjustifiable and innocent lives must never be lost to such acts.
India Highlights Pahalgam Attack & Airstrikes
The delegation included BJP MPs Aparajita Sarangi and Brij Lal, TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee, CPI(M)’s John Barittas, and Congress leader Salman Khurshid.
Their visit is part of India’s global campaign to explain Operation Sindoor and expose Pakistan-backed terrorism.
They spoke about the 22 April Pahalgam attack, where terrorists killed 26 tourists. The attackers came from Pakistan.
The MPs explained how India waited 14 days, then carried out precise and non-escalatory airstrikes on 7 May. These strikes destroyed nine terror camps.
The Indian Embassy said the MPs highlighted India’s ‘No First Use’ nuclear policy. They also rejected any nuclear threats.
Korean think tanks condemned the Pahalgam attack and supported India’s zero-tolerance policy.
MPs Compare Pakistan With North Korea
Sanjay Jha said India had sent seven teams worldwide. Their goal was to explain the brutal Pahalgam killings and Pakistan’s support for terrorism.
Aparajita Sarangi compared Pakistan’s role to North Korea’s actions. She called Pakistan a ‘habitual offender’ and said it had tried to destabilise India since 1947.
She urged South Korea to support India’s ‘new normal’ approach to terrorism.
TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee said supporting Pakistan means backing terrorism. He pointed to the 2008 Mumbai attacks, where Pakistani-trained terrorists killed 166 people.
He said India waited after Pahalgam, but had to act. On 7 May, India struck nine terror sites with full precision and avoided civilian harm.
