India sends planeloads of humanitarian supplies
In the midst of the conflict between Hamas and Israel, India dispatched humanitarian aid to the Palestinians living in the Gaza Strip on Sunday. 32 tons of disaster relief supplies and about 6.5 tons of medical help have been shipped to Palestine; Egypt will be the country of delivery.
External Affairs Ministry spokeswoman Arindam Bagchi posted on X (formerly Twitter) saying, “An IAF C-17 flight carrying nearly 6.5 tons of medical aid and 32 tons of disaster relief material for the people of Palestine departs for El-Arish airport in Egypt.”
Through Gaza’s border crossing with Egypt at Rafah, the commodities will be shipped to Palestine.
“Necessary life-saving medicines, surgical items, tents, sleeping bags, tarpaulins, sanitary utilities, water purification tablets, among other necessary items,” according to Bagchi, are included in the humanitarian relief.

Three days after speaking with Mahmoud Abbas, the president of the Palestinian Authority, Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India, has now extended aid to Palestine. PM Modi stated that India would keep providing humanitarian aid to the Palestinians during their talk on Thursday. Additionally, he expressed his sympathies for the civilian deaths in the Gaza Strip brought on by the hospital bombing.
Expressed the same profound concern over the region’s escalating bloodshed, terrorism, and security issues. After meeting with Abbas, PM Modi reiterated India’s long-standing moral stance on the Israel-Palestine conflict.

More than 5,000 people have died in the deadly conflict between Israel and Hamas, which started on October 7 in response to an unexpected and shocking strike by the Palestinian terrorist organization. The conflict has also caused a severe humanitarian catastrophe in the Middle East. World leaders have harshly condemned Hamas’s fatal onslaught, in which the group entered southern Israeli cities via land and opened fire on citizens in the streets and in their homes. Israel’s counteroffensive, known as “Operation Iron Swords,” which aims to destroy Hamas operative bases in Gaza, has caused havoc in the area, forcing residents to abandon their homes, cutting off vital utilities, and severely impairing hospitals.
