Punjab announced a three-day shutdown. Jammu & Kashmir extended the closure indefinitely.

Delhi’s Services Department ordered that no government official will receive leave until further notice.
District magistrates held meetings with their teams to review emergency health and disaster response plans.

These included reviewing security protocols and limiting public gatherings.

Authorities shut down 27 airports across the country. This follows a suspected Pakistani drone attack in Jammu, Punjab, and Rajasthan on Thursday evening.
Indian defence systems thwarted the attacks.
