Former MP Manvendra Singh along with his wife and son became victims of a car accident on Tuesday (January 30). While going to Jaipur Manvendra Singh’s car went out of control and collided with the divider, resulting in death of his wife Chitra Singh. His son Hamir Singh and driver are seriously injured. After the accident, everyone was admitted to Alwar Hospital. Where after first aid he was referred to Gurugram. A green corridor of about 150 kilometers was built during that time. The accident happened on Delhi-Mumbai Expressway.
Manvendra Singh is the son of late former Union Minister Jaswant Singh who was traveling from Delhi to Jaipur with his wife, 25-year-old son and driver when the accident happened. As of now all Manvendra, his son and the driver the recovering. They are undergoing medical treatment at Paras Hospital in Gurugram. Doctors told that Manvendra Singh has suffered fractures in his ribs and hand. His son Hamir Singh has suffered a fracture in his hand.
On the social media app Instagram, former Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot expressed his grief over the incident and said, “The news of the demise of Shri Manvendra Singh Jasol’s wife Smt. Chitra Singh in a road accident is heartbreaking. I pray that God gives peace to the departed soul and courage to the family. I pray God for the speedy recovery of Shri Manvendra Singh Jasol and other family members injured in the road accident.”
