Outside the polling booth, Home Minister Amit Shah greeted Prime Minister Modi. An elderly woman tied Prime Minister Narendra Modi a rakhi amid the throngs of admirers and well-wishers, signifying the enduring ties of esteem and love between Gujaratis and their “mota bhai.” In response, the PM also greeted them back and asked for their blessings.
By interacting with the people and signing autographs, PM Modi showed the locals his warmth and love. The PM was given an artwork by a local, which he accepted without hesitation.
Everyone should use their right to vote, the PM urged. During his speech, Prime Minister Modi praised the Election Commission for coordinating a peaceful and orderly voting process. Drawing attention to the significance of peaceful elections as a model for democracies across the globe, he presented India as an example of election-friendly governance.
